Transitioning Out of Foster Care
Our Purpose
The Ohio Governor reported that in 2020, there were 25,104 most vulnerable children, abused and neglected, removed from their families, and placed in foster care. Every year approximately 1,000 Ohio youth age out of foster care, and too often, many lack the tools and support to transition into adulthood independently.
Aging Out with Grace provides the tools they need to grow and develop to impact their lives for today and tomorrow.
We will provide the necessary skills for the young women to realize their purpose through maintaining education, social and life skills, job training, counseling, and motivation, to have successful outcomes.
Who We Are
Aging Out with Grace Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides affordable housing to young women transitioning out of the foster care system. We provide shelter, stability, and guidance to these young women. In addition to affordable housing, we provide education, soft skills assessment, money management, cooking classes, assistance with employment, driver's education training, and help with college prep. We have professionals and volunteers to train and assist with the needs of our young women. Many of these young women have no family to guide them through their life challenges, and we are a haven for them.
Aging Out With Grace, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, experienced faith-based organization helping young women and families become resilient, and have brighter futures.
